First Volunteer Giveaway

October 27, 2009

It has been my desire to give free clips to girls volunteering in their community, I now introduce you to the first girl who participating in this program.  Emily from Orlando.  Emily volunteer with CARE feline TNR, a nonprofit organization committed to reducing the population of feral and abandoned cats in Orange County Florida.

Vegfest, the last event KSC was in, was a great opportunity to become more aware of local needs of our four-legged neighbors.  You can check out some of these sponser’s throu the Vegfest website.

Another way you can be involved would be through the 11th Annual Holiday Dinner for the Animals, In just a couple months the Holiday dinner for the Animals will be happening again.  We are excited about this years speaker!! Mark your calendars!

Each year animal advocates gather for an evening of delicious Vegan food, camaraderie, some of the best nationally known animal rights speakers, and of course those raffle prizes!!  Do not miss out on the event that some call a “holiday tradition” in central Florida. For the 11th anniversary celebration dinner we have some exciting things planned you will not want to miss! This year’s speaker is Tamria Thayne, founder and CEO of Dogs Deserve Better.

With Orange county having already adopted an ordinance, and with Seminole county adopting one very soon, we couldn’t think of a more timely speaker to speak on behalf of chained dogs in central Florida. If you want to learn how you can help chained dogs in your community, you won’t want to miss this dinner and fundraiser for Dogs Deserve Better.
